LondonHomes.ca in March 6 .ca domain TBR drop

The March 6 .ca TBR drop featured a low number of caught domains this week, compared to recent weeks where over 200 names were taken.  In total, 132 .ca domains were grabbed in the drop.

In the DNJournal.com weekly domain sales report that came out today, there was one .ca domain sale listed in the country code section.  It was the 5th highest country code domain sale of the week.  That domain was:

CDNAir.ca  -  $8,475   - sold by DomainNames.ca

This is the second solid domain sale reported by DomainNames.ca in two weeks.  Last week they sold Racing.ca for just over $39,000.  CDNAir.ca is still resolving to a parked page, and I couldn't find any info on the new owner.  Perhaps it was bought by an airline business, or a company involved in clean air.  For those who aren't aware, CDN is a common abbreviation for Canada.

A few of the nicer domains that were grabbed today in the drop were:

LondonHomes.ca  -  London Ontario has a population close to 400,000
iNews.ca  -  a nice 'i' domain
weekender.ca  -  name of my and other local newspapers
bitcoins.ca  -  payment system in the news a lot lately
kitchensinks.ca  -  every home has one
baseballcamp.ca  -  popular in the summer
LasVegasRealEstate.ca  -  Las Vegas real estate is moving up again
LondonRoofing.ca  -  see above for London
FreeSongs.ca  -  what everyone wants
