Train.ca Pulls into the Station in July 22 .CA TBR Domain Drop

In this week's .ca TBR there were 127 .ca domains taken in the drop.  Some nice generics showed up like Train.ca, PotatoChips.ca, Homeopaths.ca and Demi.ca.


The DNJournal weekly domain sales report came out yesterday and there was a good sized .ca domain sale reported.  The domain was a short LLL.ca and it's already being put to use.  The sale, which was the seventh highest domain sale of the week, was:


AHS.ca  -  $30,000  -  sold at UnicDomains.com


I hadn't heard of UnicDomains before, but the domain looks to have been sold to Alberta Health Services, as they are already pointing AHS.ca to their longer website address.  AHS appears to be a large provincial health organization, and though the price seems high for a LLL.ca, this domain is an exact match of their acronym and will make it easier for people to find their information online.  The domain really complements the organization name.

    Excellent price indeed. I wonder how long the negotiation took, must have taken a bit of work. You just never know what the right domain will sell for to the right user.

    It was great to see a high value .ca domain sale reported, it's been a while. I'm surprised that more sales aren't showing up every month, even small ones, but it is summer.
