Flight.ca Sells for $102,500 CAD

I came across a forum post today at DNForum.com where it was reported that DomainNames.ca had completed a six figure .ca domain sale.

Upon checking their website, the following sale is listed on the homepage:

Flight.ca  -  $102,500 CAD  ($98,400 USD)

The domain doesn't yet resolve, and I'm not sure who the buyer was.  The forum post states that the sale will be in this week's DNJournal.com report.

It's great to see a major .ca domain sale occur during the summer slow period.  This sale joins other big sales that have occurred over the summer, such as 114.com and MathGames.com.  It is also encouraging to see significant .com and cctld domain sales at a time when many new gtld's are going to be released.  It seems like many end users are content to purchase the legacy extensions and not hold out for a new gtld.
